A spectacled white woman with long brown hair and bangs, hands on hips, beams at the camera. Behind her: a colorful mural by Davey Barnwell.

I/F is run by me, Hannah Silver (she/her).

With a background in architecture and urban planning, and a passion for physical and mental health, I provide the bridge between design decisions and their impact at the personal wellness, community health, city form, and environmental scales. An educator, curator, and convener at heart, I have taught socially just design to everyone from 3rd graders to graduate students and practicing design professionals.

My experience as a queer woman with an invisible disability makes me an aware and compassionate teacher and designer. A Portland resident since birth, I care deeply about elevating local voices and making my beloved city welcoming to everyone.
